Sun setting behind hills at golden hour
This weekend
SCV is going full fall.
A harvest festival in Bouquet Canyon. A free campfire night under Vasquez Rocks. A classic murder mystery on Main Street. And two farmers markets to start your mornings right.

From me to you
Hi, neighbor.
This is one of those weekends where you could fill all three days and barely spend a thing. Pumpkins in the morning, s'mores at sunset, and a show on Friday night if you want to feel fancy.

Here's what I'd put on my own calendar.

Quick Weekend Picks
Three easy moves
Make Saturday a Main Street day. The farmers market and the theater are on the same street. Market in the morning, show at 7.

Set a pumpkin patch budget first. Getting in is free, and the fun is pay as you go. Decide before the kids see the giant slide.

Pack a picnic for Sunday. Fireside Nights welcomes snacks and picnics. No alcohol, so bring the cider.
Where to Go
Old Town Newhall
Saturday gives you two reasons to spend the whole day on Main Street. Start at the market, wander the shops, grab lunch, and stay for the show. Park once and walk the rest.
Dirt trail through grassy fields toward wooded hills
What to Do
Take a slow walk at Placerita Canyon
Need a quiet hour between all the fun? The Placerita Canyon Nature Center is open Tuesday to Sunday, 8 AM to 7:30 PM. Tip: there's no parking on Placerita Canyon Rd, so use the lot.

Behind the Brand
Why I write this every week
When I moved to this country in 2000, I learned that a house becomes home when you know the places around it. The market on Saturday. The trail you love. The spot where you watch the sunset. That's what this guide is for.
Love Where You Live
Wondering what you'd walk away with?
If a move is on your mind for next year, start with one number: what lands in your account after the payoff, the commission, and the closing costs. I'll run it for you from real market data. Free, and no pressure to list.
